We joined in to services this morning, the first English and the second Maasai. The Canon preached and I introduced the team. George had teh opportunity to present the gift of one of his crosses to Bishop Gaddiel, he spoke really well, brought a tear to my eye knowing how proud Mabel would have been of him.

Jen was asked to be Bishops Chaplain and was taller than both the bishop and his crozier! We all really enjoyed the worship which was so uplifting.

After the services Jackie and Pauline prayed for healing for some folk. After lunch some of us enjoyed another wee walk into Kajiado while the others stayed behind at teh guest house to rest.

Peace be with you,

Steve.

Well done George.
The English and Swahili services are a brilliant start to the trip.
Hope you are all well rested for the journey ahead.
Service in St Pauls this morning went well. Praise Band played really well, and i spoke on growth linking it in with the parable of the mustard seed. Links in well with what you guys are going in Kenya (spreading the seed with the construction of new St Pauls)
God bless.

Just picking up on the blogs now - so pleased to hear you have all arrived safely, apart from George's tools - don't worry George, your hosts are wonderful at improvisation, ask Stanley! Stev's description of the services in the cathederal bring back some fabulous memories. Tell Chris "Blue" is the colour, any shade will do but best in the "sky" variation:-).Great singing by the Praise Band this morning at the 1100. God Bless...

Thinking of you all as your travel to Imberikani today. Tell Nat she can be suprised I have actually cooked for myself, not the same as getting it handed to you. I miss her and appreciate what a good daughter she is. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take care and travel safe.

Great to hear that George has fulfilled part of his mission, what's the latest on his tools, did they turn up or are they gone for good? Great to hear of Jens promotion lol, did you give the Bishop his picture from his service here with us? Great service by Mark on Sunday, and good support for Ashlea at the after service tea. Keep the blogs coming. you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
